Frederic Cossard - Saint Amour
A special Gamay: made by Frederic Cossard in partnership with Damien Coquelet and Kevin Descombes. Grown from 60 year old vines on Clay and Silex soil, the wine had 8 days of carbonic maceration in steel tank followed by a month fermentation on natural yeast and 8 months in a stainless steel tank. Acerola cherry, strawberry, citrus, a hint of basil. Wine is pure with a bright and charming fruit, which balances well with a clear minerality.
