Frederic Cossard - Beaune Blanc-Les Bressandes

Chardonnay from 30+ year old vines on limestone and clay. Three months fermentation on natural yeast, followed by 12 months in old barrels and four months in stainless steel. Hints of grapefruit, oranges, citrus, lemon tarts, scent of flint stones. This wine from Frederic Cossard is packed with pure, translucent and delicate minerality, with acidity to form the backbone! 

The section of Beaune is Les Bressandes, so valuable! The vineyard area is mere 0.35 Ha.
