La Villana Rosato

from 21.00

Joy Kull tends the vines of her Azienda Agricola, La Villana, on the slopes of the crater lake Lago di Bolsena north of Rome. The authochthonous grapes Joy grows are nurtured by the volcanic soils of the crater at moderate altitude and enjoy ideal sun exposure and dry winds. The Rosato is a lovely rosé composed of 2/3 Sangiovese and 1/3 Aleatico, both crushed under foot and pressed directly. These were supposed to become two separate wines, but Joy decided to blend them this year to create this fantastically refreshing summer wine. 12.5% Alcohol.
