Frank Cornelissen - Susucaru Rosso

On the Northern valley of the active Etna Volcano in Sicily, Frank Cornelissen continues to pursue his desire to make natural wines with a sense of place. The Susucaru Rosso is his juicy and delicious entry-level red, a field blend of predominantly Nerello Mascalese (85%), as well as other local varieties from all of their vineyards: Nerello Capuccio, Allicante Boushet, Minella and Uva Francesa. The Susucaru Rosso embodies the traditional style of Mount Etna, where many native varieties were often planted together. The Susu Rosso is aromatic, elegant, and fluid.
