What comes out of his cellar is full of fresh, elegant and dense fruit. Sous Roche is the red Saint Romain of the estate. The vines here are fifty years old and are in one of the steepest, highest parcels in Saint-Romain. True to terroir, this is a lively, lean and vertical expression of Pinot Noir that blossoms in the glass. Old vines of fine pinot which give a wine of superb fruit, elegance and finesse. Gorgeous!
