Podere Pradarolo - Vej Bianco Antico Metodo Classico Brut
One of our all-time favorite wines is back with a new vintage, and it's as amazing as ever. This bubbly from Emilia Romagna in Italy is not your average sparkling wine! A blend of two vintages of Malvasia di Candia Aromatica (2015/16), both fermented with long macerations and then blended for re-fermentation in the bottle for 24 months. It is complex and dry, but with lots of beautiful floral aromas typical of Malvasia. This is a wine that works not only as an aperitif, but is really exciting to pair with food. You might be surprised by how well it works with lots of different dishes!
We suggest you give it a try with Middle Eastern food.
The 2004 Decennale is Vej 2004 (3 months of skin contact) with the addition of the must of 2014, 4 years on the yeasts degorged à la volé and pas dosé.
