Wein der Stille is Franz’s top line of low-intervention wines. Made of 90% Sauvignon blanc and 10% Chardonnay, Muskateller and Pinot Blanc, this wine undergoes a long maceration - 12 months! - in old oak barrels before being bottled. This wine, like all our wines, undergoes spontaneous fermentation, is unfiltered, unfined and completely unintervened. The wine really reflects the terroir with great complexity and texture. Notes of apple pie, quince, white flowers and tea predominate. This is a wonderful wine. 12% Alcohol.
