Frank Cornelissen - Munjebel Bianco

2016 and 2015 yielded almost no grapes, and the last of Frank Cornelissen's Bianco with skin contact. Vintages 2014 and earlier are produced like a red wine: full skin-contact to achieve texture and territorial identity. The vineyards (Calderara, Borriglione and Crasa) are located between 650 and 900 m with a blend of 60% Grecanico Dorato and 40% Caricante. From 2015 going forward, the full skin-contact was reduced to preserve the wine's finesse. Lots of minerality from the soil and unique notes from the local varietaly. The unusual character suits a wide variety of dishes and cuisine.
